EURO TRAVEL

After working on the Uni Dom Travel for months we have succeeded in carrying it on to another level of development.
The third level of development, the EURO TRAVEL, stands out for having only just about half the weight of its predecessor. This has become possible because all the carrying parts can be made out of aluminium now, due to a completely new manufacturing method.
We will stop delivering welded modules. Welded modules will only be manufactured order-related for larger facilities in the future.

As a result the following changes are going to be made on the Uni Dom series:

1) The most important: the weight! The weight is reduced up to 60 % which allows a much cheaper shipping and handling (for example while it is being installed or for moving house.

2) The Euro Travel is still appropriate for any kind of small animal - of course in its adapted form. The degu design for example has special plates for edge protection so that the powder coating cannot be chewed on.

3) The Euro Travel is completely compatible with all the prior manufactured ones. For example you could enlarge your existing Uni Dom 2 with an EURO TRAVEL module to be an Uni Dom 3.

4) All the carrying parts of the EURO TRAVEL will be manufactured out of 1.5 mm aluminium from now on. The following parts will still be made out of stainless steel: the stairs and the short version slide rail for the removable rack.

5) Tools are no longer needed to place the barrier in between two modules.

6) The slide rail rack has been completely revised. Now it is closed all the way around with the exception of the cut-out for climbing. For stability this cut-out has been made a little smaller and moved to the left.

Further innovations with the EURO TRAVEL:

 The base module can now also be delivered with a cat side panel and a door placed on the outside of the module. This offers the possibility of another exit to prevent rats from swinging and climbing on the doors.

For the cat side walls we offer a door grid which allows rats to see and smell each other when 2 or more Uni Doms stand side to side.
